The Stamford Forum - a new systems-based 'listen then think tank'

David Wilkinson has sent advice of a new Forum whose aim is to 'develop much better connections between public and social policy and practice/implementation. We want to be a think, act, reflect and learn tank. We aim to move to much more real partnership based approaches with organisations and communities.

On the website they say: 'We are an association of people who work with and for individual, community, organisational and social development. We are not a think tank – but a Listen, Think, Do, Talk, Learn and Share Tank. We are impatient with just talking about what needs to change and take an action learning approach; this means DOING - engaging in action - as the basis for learning and new thinking'.
